Pre-Carnival 2011

Our life is moving faster than our blog! Trinidad and Tobago is gearing up for Carnival 2011. We will play J'Ouvert early Monday a.m. and watch the festivities on Carnival Monday and Tuesday. Meanwhile, there are lots of Carnival fetes and the pan yards are praticing.

President's Day weekend was fun. Friday night we attended the monthly wine and cheese party, Saturday (our 4th anniversary!) we went on a pan yard tour, and Sunday we co-hosted a progressive dinner with other embassy families on our street. Monday we had grand plans of beach and a movie but they were foiled by a dead car battery.

Last weekend we were in Grenada but we'll save that for the next blog.

Our little man looking cool in the pool with his daddy.

With the floaties (Go Buckeyes!) he can walk around the shallow part without mommy holding on the whole time--Nicholas loves the freedom.
