It's been a summer of record heat in DC, with lots of 100+ degree days, and humid. But, it's good to be back in America and we finally feel almost settled. We hired a nanny and she just finished her first week--so far we love her! David will hopefully be back to work very soon. No big vacations since Christy can't take time off French, but we've had fun in the area. While I was downloading and organizing photos for these blogs, Claire figured out a new trick--pulling up. to standing. by herself....mommy's in trouble now! She also has 4 teeth now so the nights have been a little rough. We enjoyed a visit from GG and Grumpa and made an impromptu trip back to OH.
Now that we're almost settled (the bed that we ordered President's Day weekend might get delivered next week), Christy will start the bidding process all over again next week, although we won't know our next post until the fall.
