Labor Day weekend

We enjoyed a really nice relaxing Labor Day weekend, heading to the beach on Saturday and Baltimore Saturday night and Sunday morning. Sunday evening we caught part of the National Symphony Orchestra Labor Day concert on the Capitol lawn. Monday we just relaxed and stayed home. This week is Christy's last week of Con Gen, and next weekend is The Ohio State vs. USC game--we are glad to be back in the U.S. so we can watch at a normal hour!

random fire works display we enjoyed from our living room Friday night.

At the beach in Baltimore--the Bay Bridge

Enjoying the sun and catching up on some reading

Inner Harbor in Baltimore

heading out to dinner

the pirate cruise looked like a ton of fun--keeping it in mind for next time

view of a sub from the window of the Baltimore Aquarium

the scuba diver led one of the giant turtles over towards the crowd so we could get a good look

lots of cool fish

on the escalator, but we thought it was a cool picture

the jelly fish are invading-- really, overpopulation of jelly fish is becoming an environmental problem, we learned

We got home around 4:00 Saturday afternoon, so plenty of time for a nap and dinner before heading downtown for the National Symphony Orchestra Labor Day concert on the Capitol lawn. We almost bailed because it looked like rain, and it actually did rain while we were on the metro on the way over, but fortunately the concert was still on. We watched the first half and then it really did start to rain so we headed home, but we did enjoy the first half, including the Star Wars theme song and music from ET.

We were sitting on the side, of the crowd, but we still got a cool view of the Capitol through the trees

Not too much longer now.... 12 days until our due date!
