Nicholas has some big goals for the summer: learn how to swim, ride a bike, and read. It's not easy being almost 5! We've been practicing in the backyard, so falls don't hurt too much. And Claire has started riding Nicholas' Laufrad, the one we bought in Berlin. We've also made it to the beach, celebrated Nicholas' preschool graduation and brown belt test, toured his new school, and visited the Udvar Hazey Air and Space museum and the Smithsonian Folk Festival on the National Mall. And June was supposed to be a quiet month! The kids also started swim lessons and went with our nanny to a show at Wolf Trap.
