What a gorgeous spring we've been having.  We've been having fun just staying at home and taking advantage of all the fun things in the DC area.  We've also had a couple of fires in our fire pit (which calls for s'mores, of course) and one dinner on our back patio.  We are gearing up for Nicholas' preschool graduation and a busy summer, including bidding season!

We did not make it downtown to the cherry blossoms this year but there were beautiful blooms at our local park as well.

Outdoor dining is one of my favorite things--I miss all the little street cafe's in Europe!

Despite how late Easter was this year, it was a bit chilly for the Easter Egg hunt

and bouncy castles.  Life is good!

We will remember 2014 as the year of the pink frilly skirts and dresses.  So what if mommy had a cute red, white , and blue outfit picket out.  Parade watching calls for princess dresses!

 It's strawberry season!

Time to look for strawberry pie recipe's!
